With the exciting launch of the Yamaha Motor Corp. Unmmaned Systems' RMAX helicopter sprayer in the US, a visual how-to was needed to illustrate its benefits to growers. Duke Joseph has created three videos, with a fourth one in the works, that show the technical progression of the iterations of the RMAX over the last four years. The current video will highlight the newest version, the Yamaha Fazer, and the improvements in payload and performance over its predecessor.
Duke Joseph also helped the Yamaha Motor Corp. select a UAS test range suitable for program development, and also provided ongoing support of test flights in the region. We planned and carried out technology trials and demonstrations at local vineyards and orchards, and established key relationships between Yamaha and target market growers in the Columbia Basin.
