GROW YAMHILL COUNTY
Yamhill County is a beautiful area of Oregon that is crazy with vineyards, hazelnuts and culinary delights. Duke Joseph was contracted to set up an Economic Development county office, and undertook a campaign that included photography, interviews, 18 separate videos profiling local businesses, a robust social media presence, and a comprehensive website showcasing the region's many opportunities. We created a full color 44-page magazine highlighting the ten towns within the county, which was distributed throughout Oregon and neighboring states.
Our research into how to help grow the county's economy led us to support the development of agriculture technology in the region. We organized an event - the Precision Farming Expo - as a way of attracting the interest of technology developers who were keen to invest in Ag. John Deere’s chief roboticist Stewart Moorehead, autonomous vehicle guru Mel Torrie of ASI Robotics, UAS spray expert Ken Giles of UC Davis, France’s Christophe Millot, the UK’s Clive Blacker, and many other global Ag tech leaders shared their visions and thoughts on the future of Ag with a large audience made up of progressive growers and crop consultants.
